Frequently asked questions
What services does JM Facilities Solutions offer?
We offer six consultancy services: comprehensive facilities support, specialised H&S compliance, energy efficiency expertise, effective contract management, facilities compliance, and sustainable facilities solutions. All are advisory.
Do you carry out maintenance, repairs or planned works?
No. Our services are consultative only. We give advice and recommendations, and we do not provide reactive maintenance or planned, delivery based services.
What is workplace health and safety compliance?
It means meeting your legal duties to protect employees and others affected by your work. In Great Britain this includes duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, such as carrying out risk assessments and putting safe working arrangements in place.
What is a method statement?
A method statement sets out, step by step, how a task or activity will be carried out safely. It normally sits alongside a risk assessment, which identifies the hazards and the controls needed.
How can an energy audit reduce running costs?
An energy audit shows where a building uses and wastes energy. That lets you prioritise the changes that cut consumption and cost, and supports your wider sustainability goals.

If any provider processes your data outside the UK, we will make sure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as a UK adequacy regulation or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
